KENTWOOD, MI — If you’re looking to play pickleball or wiffleball during the winter months, a new sports entertainment facility in Kentwood has just what you’re looking for.
Scheduled to open in winter 2024, Dinks & Dingers will feature six indoor pickleball courts, four outdoor pickleball courts, and a full-size wiffleball field.
The venue is being opened by Andy Anderson, an entrepreneur who wants to make Kentwood known as Pickleball City.
“Excitement is building to create a pickleball social club unlike any other in Michigan,” he said.
Dinks & Dingers is open for lessons, leagues, corporate and private events, and open play. Annual memberships are offered, but players can join and play directly.
Cornhole, shuffleboard, and table tennis are also available.
After the game, enjoy a beer and a bite to eat at Dinks & Dingers, a full-service restaurant and bar featuring craft beers and cocktails.
The City of Kentwood is currently in the final stages of land rezoning. The City Planning Commission and City Council have already voted to support Dinks & Dingers.
Dinks & Dingers is located at 5080 Broadmoor Avenue. Construction is expected to begin this spring.
