Iowa business receives $100,000 investment in second annual InnoVenture Challenge
An Iowa company received a $100,000 investment Wednesday night during the second annual InnoVenture Challenge. During the competition, judges will listen to his five-minute pitches from three companies and choose a winner. This year, Re Envision Ag won the challenge. The company aims to create more sustainable planting systems for farmers. “I’m just amazed because it’s unbelievable. I mean, there are so many great teams out there. To be in the top three is just amazing…and just an amazing experience,” Jayson of Re Envision Ag Ryner said. Last year, Hawkeye Surgical Lighting won the No. 1 spot for surgical lighting that clips onto doctors’ glasses and responds to voice commands.
