EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso has announced that the city has been recognized as one of the best cities for vacation travel.
According to the city, El Paso ranks third among the 42 most populous cities in the city’s most recent analysis for vacation travel.
“In the report ‘Worst Cities for Vacation Travel,’ El Paso ranks favorably among the best U.S. cities for vacation travel.” “We analyzed 14 indicators,” the city said.
El Paso International Airport is expecting a busy holiday season, with passenger traffic up 9% compared to last year and a significant 19% increase from pre-pandemic levels, the city said in a press release.
With approximately 86,000 travelers expected to depart from Dec. 22 to Jan. 2, El Paso International Airport provided important tips to ensure a seamless experience for all passengers.
