Danny DeVito had a chance to know more about Drew Barrymore than the rest of us.
On Wednesday’s episode of “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the daytime host was joined by Ross Matthews from “CBS Morning”‘s “The Boys,” Tony Dokoupil, Nate Burleson and Vladimir Dutiers.
The conversation turned to an article in The Independent about how millennial women keep lists of the people they’ve had sex with on their phones.
Barrymore said she has experience with that.
“I made a list. That was a long time ago,” she said. “I made it with paper and pen. I’m the most disorganized person and I lose everything. I leave it at someone’s house.”
That person happened to be Danny DeVito, Barrymore revealed. At the time, he was directing the film Duplex, which Barrymore co-starred in and produced. It turns out she had written that list on the back of her notes about the movie.
She came clean to the actor.
“I admitted that to him,” Ms. Barrymore told the group. “When he came on the show, I was like, ‘I left my sex list at your house.’
Longtime viewers of her daytime talk show will remember that DeVito appeared on the show in 2022 and joked, “I made a copy so it’s going to be in my autobiography,” before revealing the truth. Maybe.
“No, I’ve never come across it. I’ve never seen it,” he told Barrymore and the audience. “Your secret is safe with me.”
