Arkansas Tech University will recognize approximately 1,050 graduates at its Spring 2024 commencement ceremony, which will be held May 10 and 11 at John E. Tucker Coliseum in Russellville.
The weekend begins with a ceremony on Friday, May 10th at 7 p.m. The ceremony will recognize graduates from the ATU College of Business and Economic Development and the ATU Ozark Campus.
Friday’s ceremony will include the induction of ATU alumni Don Daley Jr., Lou Nell McCraw Davis and Jayne Jones into the ATU Hall of Fame.
ATU-Ozark Campus recognizes 2024 recipients of the Bob Adams Outstanding Student Award, ATU-Ozark Spirit Award, ATU-Ozark Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award, ATU-Ozark Staff Excellence Award, and ATU-Ozark Service To do. The award was presented at an awards ceremony on Friday.
Three ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 11th.
The ATU College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics will hold an opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
ATU College of Arts and Humanities will have students walk at 2 p.m.
ATU College of Education and Health will close for ATU graduation weekend at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will include the recognition of Kapri Salaam as the 2024 recipient of the Jim Ed McGee Award, given to ATU’s most outstanding graduate student.
Arkansas Tech University will honor its most outstanding seniors in a ceremony Saturday at 2 p.m., including Alfred J. Clabaugh Award recipient Braden Jones (Warren City) and Margaret Young Award recipient Madison Starks (Bigelow City). City) and Breckin Ballard (City of Pottsville), recipient of the Jill Lestage Brown Service Leadership Award.
The 2024 ATU Distinguished Faculty Award winners from the Russellville campus will also be recognized at the spring commencement ceremony.
