Morristown Medical Center and Chilton Medical Center took the top spot in Jersey’s Best’s annual hospital rankings.
The ranking, created by healthcare research and information firm Castle Connolly, ranks hospitals by two size categories: 350 or more beds and less than 350 beds.
For the sixth time in the past seven years, Morristown has earned the top spot in the 350+ category. Chilton, of Pompton Plains, took the top spot in the under 350 category for his ninth consecutive year.
Scott Leighty, chief health system officer at Atlantic Health System, was thrilled by the recognition.
“Atlantic Health System’s commitment to treating all patients with the highest quality of care is consistent across many sites of care within the system,” he said.
“All of our doctors, nurses, and caregivers continue to set the standard of excellence, and I am deeply grateful for all they do for our patients, their families, and our communities. I would like to express my gratitude and gratitude to you.”
