Based in Milan, Granato was involved in the renovations of Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, and brings a wealth of expertise to the group’s camp, lodge, boat and marine architecture and interior design projects.
With a degree in Architecture, Design and Heritage Technology, she is one of the youngest female adjunct professors at Politecnico di Milano. In 2018 she founded Studio Her Ibsen, a think tank of architects, interior designers and researchers who carry out national and international projects, academic research and social initiatives.
For A&K’s new camps and lodges, Granato works with local architects and interior designers to ensure the group’s Italian heritage, style and taste are fused with regional materials, patterns and colors.

Crystal has announced plans to build two ocean ships and two expedition ships in 2023.
These boats, and some of A&K’s new riverboats, will be designed by Genoa-based studio GEM, headed by Giacomo Mortola and his son Lorenzo Mortola.
They bring 70 years of combined experience in ship design, most recently working on the redesign of some of the cabins and suites on Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony.
In-house team led by Roberto Fazi
Crystal’s in-house team of naval engineers and architects, led by Roberto Fazi, vice president of marine affairs, will collaborate with Studio Gem and Studio Ibsen.
A&K Travel Group CEO Christina Reavis calls Granato “an invaluable resource who consistently delivers superior results even when faced with difficult projects.” Her vast knowledge of materials, shapes and architectural history and her unparalleled expertise make her a true visionary in her field.
Balance between tradition and innovation
“Adriana has a deep understanding of my vision for our two brands, which, combined with her keen awareness of the strategic objectives of our group, allows her to strike the perfect balance between tradition and innovation.” she continued.
Levi said this makes A&K’s products “resonate with both millennials and older generations, and is a testament to her extraordinary ability to bridge the gap between past and future.”
As for Motra, Levi has worked for many years, starting with building and refurbishing Silversea ships in his past roles with the brand, and more recently with Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity.
Sophisticated taste and attention to detail
Levi said: “Giacomo Mortola’s refined taste and meticulous attention to detail, combined with the pragmatic and fresh perspective of his incredibly talented son Lorenzo, have contributed to the development of our ships and our future. It fits perfectly with the ambitions of the project.”
