The famous Oceanco superyacht Daal is not a new build. It was delivered to its owner in 2018 and has been recognised ever since for its innovative design. In the same year, it won the Jury’s Award for Best Technical Achievement at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. And, thanks to its advanced wheelhouse, it was the first Dutch-built vessel to achieve official Lloyd’s Register Integrated Bridge System (IBS) certification. The yacht has been praised for its unique approach to yacht construction, breaking with tradition to create a leisure vessel like no other.
Since delivery, Dar has been available for charter from €1.2 million ($1.3 million) per week. After recently undergoing extensive maintenance and upgrades, she is now listed for sale. The asking price for this luxury superyacht is €208 million ($225.2 million), excluding taxes.
Dar’s design takes inspiration from the hammerhead shark, with its contrast between the black hull and white superstructure. The mast is shaped like a dorsal fin, further emphasizing this theme. The exterior design was by Luiz De Basto, while the interior was designed by Nuvolari Lenard. The goal was to create a space where the interior and exterior blended seamlessly, incorporating natural elements and using the finest materials.
Online reports said the Dar is owned by Ziyad Al Manassir, a Jordanian-born Russian entrepreneur who made his fortune in the construction industry. The yacht’s name, “Dar,” means “gift” in Russian, which matches the owner’s background.
Dar stands out among other superyachts because of her unique approach to space. Rather than cramming in as many amenities and features as possible, Dar focused on creating flowing spaces that don’t feel crowded or oppressive. The superstructure is made primarily of glass and covers approximately 400 square meters (4,305 square feet). This achievement required a lengthy approval process from Lloyd’s.
Dar is truly an incredible superyacht, offering a unique experience for those lucky enough to be on board.
Large Yacht Corporation has unveiled its latest masterpiece, the stunning superyacht “Daal”. Her resemblance to a shark isn’t just cosmetic; every aspect of Dar’s construction has been carefully considered and fit for purpose.

Dar has two private helipads, one of which serves as the main pool, cleverly hidden when not in use, and glass elevators seamlessly connect each deck, making it easy to move around the yacht. Other highlights include a fully-equipped gym and wellness area, a spacious beach club, multiple pools (including an owner’s own Jacuzzi), tender boats, water toys, and a spacious garage packed with photography equipment.
Both formal and informal dining options are available both indoors and outdoors. The interior spaces exude elegance, featuring luxurious materials such as fine fabrics, fine leathers, glass artworks and hand-painted plaster bas-reliefs. The use of marble, maple veneer, sycamore and limed ash add an air of sophistication to the overall design. Dar strikes the perfect balance between luxury and class, ensuring a truly memorable experience for its fortunate guests.
