Weaving Concept
The Metropolitan Park Revitalization design team unveiled three conceptual designs at the June 25 open house: Tailgate Plaza, Weave and Quilt.
The Metropolitan Park Revitalization Project design team has launched an online survey to gather community feedback on three conceptual designs they unveiled at a June 25 open house.
Denver-based Civitas Inc., the lead design team, is seeking feedback on various aspects of the three designs (The Tailgate Plaza, The Quilt and The Weave), including access, connectivity, recreation and the riverfront promenade experience. Surveys are open through July 16. Civitas President Scott Jordan said feedback gathered during the open houses and surveys will help create a single, refined design concept that will be presented at a third open house later in the fall.

“This project will give us the feedback we need to evolve a design that is authentic to Jacksonville and the residents and community members who live near or use the park,” he said.
