BTS members Jimin and Jungkook will be starring in a new travel reality series on Disney+.
series Are you serious?!will be exclusive to Disney’s streaming service, was announced Tuesday night via a release from the K-pop supergroup’s label, Big Hit Music, and parent company, Hive.
Are you serious?! The film is set for release on August 8th and, according to a release, will follow the pair on their journey across three countries and three locations: New York, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo, Japan.
The eight-part show will see Jimin and Jungkook enjoying both summer beaches and snowy ski resorts, and give the group’s fans (collectively known as ARMYs) a behind-the-scenes look at the pair going on a road trip together.
The series was filmed in 2023 before the two K-pop stars enlist in South Korea’s military. While this will be the first travel reality show featuring just Jimin and Jungkook, BTS has previously released travel-related content, including a variety show that is popular among fans. bon voyage and In the soupThe show is currently available to watch on Weverse, a fan artist platform owned by Hybe Corp.
Early Tuesday morning, it was confirmed that BTS member Jin, the group’s oldest member, will take part in the torch relay for the Paris Olympics in 2024 as South Korea’s torchbearer. Jin enlisted in December 2022 and was discharged last month, making him the only member of the group to have completed his military service.
