Fans of Wally’s, the super travel center, will have to wait a little longer for freshly prepared foods, fuel and charging stations, apparel and other gift items to arrive in White Town.
When will Wally’s open in White Town?
The 45,000-square-foot center is expected to open in fall 2025 on 14 acres of land off Interstate 65 and Albert S. White Drive, about 15 miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis.
The Whitetown Travel Centre was scheduled to open in late 2024.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction will be held on August 16th.
Chief Experience Officer Andy Strom said this will be the third location for Wally’s, which calls itself “the home of the Great American Road Trip.”

Wally’s, which opened stores in Pontiac, Illinois in 2020 and Fenton, Missouri in 2022, features carving stations, beef jerky bars, popcorn stations and spacious restrooms with 20 women’s stalls, 10 men’s stalls and 11 urinals, and also sells T-shirts and other gift items.
The Whitetown store will also feature more than 80 fueling stations and EV charging stations.
Wally’s is primarily a car park, not a large truck park, but campers, buses and RVs are welcome.
Strom said the company has three more locations planned in the Midwest.
